Terms and Conditions
These terms cover this website and any purchase you make through it. Using the site means you accept them. The Software itself is covered separately by the License Terms, and money back is covered by the Refund Policy.
1. Who you are dealing with
This site is operated by BigXL Software, Pune, Maharashtra, India. Contact: [email protected].
2. Buying
Prices are shown on the site and may change, but never for an order already placed.
Lemon Squeezy is our Merchant of Record. When you buy, your contract of sale is with Lemon Squeezy, who act as the seller, take the payment, and collect and remit any sales tax or VAT due where you are. Their terms apply to the transaction. We never see or store your card details.
Your order is accepted when you receive the confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order where the price was displayed wrongly, where payment fails, or where we reasonably suspect fraud.
3. Delivery, and why it is not instant
A paid licence key is issued against one specific computer, for the reason set out in the License Terms. So the sequence is: you buy, we email you, you open BigXL and copy your machine identifier from Settings, you paste it into the activation page, and the key arrives by email. This usually takes a few minutes and needs no action from us.
If you buy eleven seats you supply eleven identifiers and receive eleven keys.
4. The free edition
The free edition is free with no time limit and no account. We may change what the free edition includes for future releases, but a version you have already installed keeps working as it did.
5. Support
We answer support at [email protected] and through the support page. We aim to reply within two business days. We do not promise a fix for every report, and we may decline requests that fall outside the product.
Feature requests you send us may be built, may be built differently, or may not be built. Sending one gives us permission to use the idea in the product without owing you payment, credit or confidentiality. Do not send us anything confidential.
6. Using this site
Do not attempt to break into it, scrape it at a rate that degrades it for others, probe it for vulnerabilities without telling us, or use it to distribute malware. Please report a security issue to [email protected] rather than publishing it.
The content of this site, including the text, the screenshots and the design, is ours. You may quote and link to it with attribution. You may not republish it wholesale or present it as your own.
Third party names such as Microsoft Excel are the trademarks of their owners and are used here only to describe what the product does. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of them.
7. Benchmarks and claims
Performance figures on this site were measured on our own hardware with the files described beside them. Your results will differ with your machine, your file and your columns. They are honest measurements, not a promise about your case.
8. No warranty for the site
This site is provided as is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of error. Links to other sites are not an endorsement and we are not responsible for what is on them.
9. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from this site or from a purchase made through it, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here removes liability that cannot lawfully be removed, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the bottom moves when we do, and the version in force when you bought is the one that applies to that purchase.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory right you have to bring a claim where you live.
